We are an independent community pharmacy in Owensboro, Kentucky. Don and Daisy Thomason opened as The Medicine Shoppe on Frederica Street in 1985, and after 20 years decided to go fully independent and relocate to our current location in 2005. Their daughter, Dr. Jesica Thomason Mills, PharmD, MBA, RPh purchased the pharmacy in 2016.
We accept most insurance companies, and specialize in providing excellent customer service to all of our patients. We offer free city-wide delivery. We have a knowledgeable staff of technicians and pharmacists, perform Medication Therapy Management (MTMs), can sync your medications to be due at the same time, and offer medicine and disease specific counseling.

Meet the Team
Don and Daisy Thomason
Don Thomason, RPh received his pharmacy education at Samford University in Birmingham, AL and graduated in 1961. He has practiced in Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky, and has owned multiple pharmacies. He has been a pharmacist for over 54 years, and has enjoyed helping his patients. His interests include playing guitar, singing country music, as well as fishing and gardening.
Daisy Thomason, CPhT received her Bachelors of Science in Home Economics from the University of Kentucky and her Masters in Education from Western Kentucky University. Don and Daisy have been married since 1982. She was one of the first in Owensboro to receive her CPhT when it was first offered. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and watching UK Basketball.
Dr. Jesica Thomason Mills, PharmD, MBA, RPh
Owner/PharmacistDr. Jesica Thomason Mills, PharmD, MBA, RPh is a pharmacist who graduated from Sullivan University College of Pharmacy in 2014. She has grown up in Owensboro and is excited to be back practicing in her hometown. Her interests include hunting, Kentucky Basketball, and being outdoors. She purchased the pharmacy from Don and Daisy in 2016.
Dr. Morgan Eddmenson PharmD, RPh
PharmacistMorgan was born and raised in Owensboro, Ky. She received her pharmacy education at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and graduated in 2021. Morgan is the fourth pharmacist of her family. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, painting, choreographing and going to the lake.
